Of course there is that one chance that even if KCM but not in uniform that you get "selected" for security and if not in uniform, TSA gets to party on you!

That's why I always still carry my liquids in compliant sizes. Non-rev with the Mrs? Grab my toiletry kit and go. Deadhead out of uniform? No TSA party on me ;)
