Can't find, remember, recall, or just not that smart, but when exactly do new pay rates kick in during Initial Qualification training for new seats/positions?

I can't remember if it starts when you hit the school house, pass your checkride, or complete OE.

Thanks in advance!

When you are converted to your new position.

Contract reference is 22.E.6

If your training (not including OE) is on or before the 16th of the month, then you convert that month. If your training is after the 16th you convert the following month.

Thanks!

Conersions start the first of the month then. Basically I'm starting after the 16th of September, officially me new position/rate would start October 1sr.

It's not when you start, it's when you are scheduled to finish. Can't remember the specific sims, but it's your scheduled LOE sim check ride date. On or before the 16th and you convert that month, after the 16th then wait another month for the new pay rate.

So I guess scheduled to finish on the 17th of October would keep me at my existing rate for the October pay cycle.

November pay cycle would start me at my new pay rate (converted prior to 16th November).

I appreciate the help/advice.

There is a conversion list on the deltnet in the crew resources section.

Keep in mind that your IOE which should be in Oct will be paid at the rate of the equipment you fly it on.
