Why not run the respective aircraft (765) out of its base ATL, and just run longer trips, eg ATL-CDG-JFK-AMS-ATL. No training costs, no moving costs...more happy people.

The second sim should be up and running mid Feb.
No mention of the big bus moving to ATL in the bid though. Too bad... |

BTW,
Anyone notice the "5.7%" increase in flying? Looks like flight ops won the battle in regards to hiring. I'm willing to bet that was the threshold for max flying without hiring. |

Looks like the memo came out as published. 330 should be on Aug Bid. They need a sim. They were debating it, but for now it appears that it will be left out. Remember this letter was not a bid, but a statement of what WILL be on the bid, not what WILL not. I am sure they will tweak it before it comes out, they always. do! |
757, I bet we see a NYC 744 base before an ATL base. I think they only fly NRT out of ATL on the 744. NYC serves more cities.
But They could decide ATL is a better fit going forward. |
