Of course it is. All of these jets are moving targets. Not in the sense you would think. They are all older and need replacing.....

I wonder how many pilots on the 765 have no idea this is in the works?

Probably about the same number that don't know what an Embraer 175 is.

That's about 80%

I'm having a difficult time figuring out from that memo what change this indicates for flying out of ATL on a net basis.

I think that's intentional so they can still tweak it, and also to keep people from getting too up in arms. I'm really hoping to see mega-fifi come to ATL... that would soften a lot of the impact of the 765 move.

Also wondering why Delta bothered to report the Airbus monthly sales figures on Delta Net. While they occasionally post news from manufacturers, it seems like the news they choose to post usually has some impact on our operation. The number fits (within two jets) to some other numbers talked about earlier this year.

... and an order for 52 A320 aircraft worth $4 billion from an unnamed airline, Reuters reported.

That's funny BB,
I was thinking the same when Airbus announced the order...

Cheers

Wow. Some interesting stuff on that code a phone. Seems to imply more positive then negative for the AE. With all the bodies moving around I wonder if I'll make it back to the 320.

757, I bet we see a NYC 744 base before an ATL base. I think they only fly NRT out of ATL on the 744. NYC serves more cities.

Things may have changed, but as of a couple of weeks ago, we were doing ATL-HNL on a 744. I saw it as I was catching my commute home (which was conveniently going out of E, of course).
