Thanks 80! Peaking in on the rumors, I've changed my mind on what to put on my cards 3 times in the last 3 hours. :D

Well you'd better tell him that Delta told them they were shrinking. That's like Chuck Norris telling you that you're doing something. It's happening, girlfriend. |

Cold. DC-9s are going away, but the big losses on this bid will be in ATL. About half the 765 category moving to NYC, and about a third of the 767 category gone. There will be much carnage in ATL.
On the plus side if you are based in NYC expect to move up in the world. |

standby... I was laughing so hard over that wayward water cow and then I tried to show my wife... she didn't get it.
Aviation history, not her thing. |
Question, if the bid award comes out after the 31st or 1st of January, when will it most likely close?
And by the way, had a very beautiful young FA on a trip a week or so ago. She was dating a CAL pilot based in EWR. He cheated. She got mad. She almost bid GUM on his behalf. A good reason NOT to share your login if DAL opens Guam AND you pull a Tiger Woods. Go ahead, be a Tiger. |
It can close any time they want it to, The awards just have to be posted after SOC, and they will be.

Question for those in the know. I'm currently finishing up initial a/c training in MSP and about to start OE. Someone told me that after OE was finished, that I had the option of dropping the rest of the month and just getting paid the credit that I had accumulated thus far in the month vs. being time available per the PWA. I talked with training scheduling and they didn't have a clue either way. So I called crew scheduling and they gave me a big negative. However, it's in their interest for me to not drop the last ten days of the month so I want to pursue it. Any Delta-S'ers have any knowledge of this? If not, who do you recommend that I ask?
You'll be able to pick up time, if you want, or just take the credit you've already accrued. Good Luck. |
