So you're the one responsible for making this suggestion to our flight attendants?!!??

Makes perfect sense that it would be a great terminal. Looks like a beautiful, modern design. I'm definitely not trying to promote ATL as the ideal airport design, but if DTW handled the same number of pax as ATL, a longitudinal arrangement is a luxury it might not be able to afford.

I find ATL to be breathtaking in it's ability to pump planes and people in and out. And I find JFK to be breathtaking (literally, if it's more than 70 degrees outside) in it's ability to squander square footage, and convert dollars into delays.

Have you tried the Hotpockets?

sorry couldn't help myself.

It's CLE, if I roll inverted on him chances are we'd would be coming down in a ball of flames and then we'd hit Lake Erie and the whole lake would explode and take the city with it and a few, handful, count em' on your fingers, folks would be sad.

My waive came from an AE ERJ landing on the right and me on the left. I was above him and approach asked if I had him in sight and when I said yes and wad then cleared for a visual but don't pass him. So I dove down to intercept the glide and when I did I started to pass him so I had to throw out the gear so "he'd fly right by" but he didn't and we just went down side by side. I was an fo at the time so I decided to waive and the AE guy waived back. Which surprised me since it was an Eagle pilot willing to waive to a Coex guy but now that I think about it, I guess it couldve been a one finger salute.

So are we ever going to have Top Gun II? Maverick returns looking younger than he did 23 years ago and the leading lady is now a lesbian so it'll be a lot harder for maverick but with Quentin Tarantino directing...... never mind, this plot is in a death spiral, spinning out to sea.

Anyone have an inside line on what is going to happen with the impending new FAA crew rest regulations?

I'm hearing all sorts of rumors about CAL and AMR and the staffing requirements IF the proposed changes go into action.

I guess the question is, what could it do to our staffing numbers? AND, really, how much could it impact our earnings potential / leverage for negotiating the next contract?

Things are changing fast. It appears last weeks article is no longer accurate. Newly announced financing now totals 2 Billion:

Delta to sell $500M in notes in private offering - Yahoo! Finance

1) Am I correct that the first 500 million, issued last week is for senior notes, and is distinct from the second five hundred million of junior debt, for a total of 1 billion additional debt?

2) I understand this to be for repayment of former NW debt, i.e. that it is essentially a refinancing. Am I correct?

Thanks.

It means that Delta management is taking your concessions and retirement and going shopping with it!!! In the past Delta management has been prone to impulsive buys. Lets see if they do better this time.
