So I called about this.....should have just let it lie. I guess some schedulers take the time to add the pay to the TOFF days.....others do not. It doesn't matter if they don't, they will be audited towards the end of the month and the pay will be applied. The supervisor assured me that they will get paid without the scheduler taking the time to attach pay. She said she hadn't attached the pay in 7 years. If they don't attach the pay, then your max pickup limit is not reduced. If they attach the pay then it is reduced. She said this PB bank day issued for Jan-Mar is a pain in the ass for them and wished they would fix it so we can just keep them in the bank.
So, I could have left it as is and still WS'd a trip this week. Now I can't. Scoop will think that is a good thing, I'm not so sure. I am for guys doing whatever they want IAW the PWA. I am all for guys white-slipping as much as they want for their benefit. What I am also for is tightening up the PWA to provide less productivity to the company - you know faster upgrades, more WB Captain positions, more NB Captain potions etc. I would rather us all get paid more for the time we do work then just work more. But if as a Pilot group we decide to give the company productivity increases that is fine too - every man for himself and when the hiring slows down - which it will, well too bad for the guys on the bottom. Scoop I would just like to pick up an extra few days to pay for all the crap Amazon delivered here for Christmas. Amazon Prime should ban females.....I'm seriously going to go broke. |

Last Jan when I tried they told me it must to be currently dropped & off your schedule when you call. Then you can WS back the next PCS cycle- if no one else WS in the meantime. Other times of year when the automated PB drop functionality works, I’d guess you could do drop/WS in same PCS run.

Thanks for doing the research, Rockyboy!!
Turbinedriver: Put in a PD and a WS for the same rotation for the same PCS run. Then call CS. Then you’ll be in the same TOFF-limbo as Rockyboy and me. :D |

I think they told you wrong. I just PD'd and WS'd a 4-day trip tonight on the same PCS run and had them pay me with 4 PB days. I didn't think you could either, but didn't know so I figured I would try and they made it work. The trip shows as a WS once you pick it back up and they can see the history of you using the PD to drop it.

But did it appear on your timecard with a pay/credit entry right away?

Does CQ count towards max credit for bidding purposes?
