PBS question:

I have to move sometime in February and will need 5 days to do it. Am I better off requesting a specific date range or just request 5 days off between trips?

It depends on whether you want a regular or reserve line. If regular but reserve if you can’t get the days off you want......

I’d bid a regular line starting with “Prefer Off xx, xx, xx, xx, xx else start next” then follow that with whatever the rest of my bid for a regular line was.... Then, for bid group 2, I’d bid reserve with my prefer off days starting with the 5 days I wanted off.

I've always used the date range first. If you don't get it off your CP will drop trips for you to move without pay then you can WS stuff to get the pay back.

For the initial PBS award, yes. As you know, on the 20th you can start modifying to get what you really want.

Wasn’t there a change in the PWA about 50% of your unused sick hours going into a bank?
