Don't think they are out yet. You can check on iCrew though:

Bids --> Vacation --> Display (VTS) data --> "X" in the "Vacation" square and look for the results. That will show you all of your awarded vaycay.

When they are out, you SHOULD get an alert when you log onto iCrew, too.

Anybody have a 172 at PTC airport willing to rent it out for primary lessons? My son had just begun work on his private when the owner of the plane dissolved the business and sold the plane. We now have a a bunch of C172 stuff, a willing and experienced instructor, but no plane. The instructor has been trying to buy a plane himself and keeps hinting that he could use a partner. I don't want any part of an airplane but I'd really like my son to get back to flying, it's about the best carrot I'v got when it comes to his (crappy) grades!!! Anybody out there with a 172 able and willing to help? I suppose a 150/152 would work as well.

Thanks!

172’s are relatively low cost. A partnership in a good one might turn out to be your lowest cost option. Keep in mind that other than hours on the motor a 172 is not going to depreciate much if at all.

Looks like they are being run right now. Maybe by the end of the day they will be released.

It's been years, but you used to be able to rent a 172 at Tara field too, that airport might be another option for you.

We like his instructor. The instructor lives <5 minutes via golf cart to the PTC airport and won't instruct anywhere else. If he doesn't get another plane by summer I'll start looking elsewhere. We started a bit early, but this summer my son turns 16 so it makes sense to get things going again after he's old enough to solo.

You are a genius Pickle. Just found out I got the 12-25th of August off.

Never have I had summer off before. How hard is it to slide forward a week?

My daughter wants to start flying, but she's not quite 14. We're in PTC and would love a referral to your instructor, if you think that's okay.
