Alpa med days 24 hrs after Propofol & I'm "legal". I'm not sure I'll feel up to sitting in the seat tomorrow after taking it in both ends. Thoughts?
Propofol is a narcotic, isn't it? I'd have thought 72 hours, but I'm not a Doctor. I've never had that done but I don't think I'd want to take the chance. Being uncomfortable sitting in the business end of an aircraft can be a distraction/PITA, literally. I think your Dr. will have no problem signing a note for you. I had Oral surgery in December, and I had my half of the note filled out. I told the surgeon what I did for a living and asked him if I was going to feel like going to work for 4 days the next day. He said "Uhhh, probably not." I said, " Well, then, would you mind signing this form?" He looked at me confused that a grown man needed a Dr. Note, but happily filled it out. |
what about a drug test? They used a narcotic on mine that started with the letter V and I thought it needed 48 hours?

Yeah.... mike Jackson had a really 'BAD' reaction to it.....

No. Plus being on reserve you don't get double pay for greenslips. It still surprises me how many guys on reserve pick up a greenslip thinking they are getting double pay.

If I buy an ID90 on SWA but the flight is full or we just don't use it, is my money refunded or is the money a credit to be used later?
Also, is there a drop dead time prior to the flight to purchase them or can I buy right up to D-7? |
I want someone to hack the IT department's computers and require that after everything they do, or in the middle of whatever they're doing, they have to hit the F2 key. Sometimes, the F4 key. Make it as random as possible. And put a flashing red banner across the screen until they comply.
And make sure the date is entered randomly as DDMMMYYYY, or DDMMYY, MMMDDYY, YYMMMDD, DDMMYY, DDMMYYYY and so on. :D |

You have to go back in and apply for the refund. My wife and I use that a lot when she goes on an international trip with me. If she gets bumped or cannot get on my flight she has a fistful of ZED fares to get home. If she doesn't use them, no big deal we go back in and get the refund.

Thanks, 1st time trying this. We're having to get very creative to get back to Atlanta from Chicago. We are printing money (DAL, not me personally ;) ), almost no standby flyers are getting on.
