The funny thing is Endeavor doesn't even have priority on their own meal. Delta and Endeavor both fly as S3 on 9E flights, sorted by DOH. DL retirees (S3C) go above 9E retirees (S4), parents, and dependants too (S3CR).
Don't see any of you picking up your pitchforks for this "injustice".
AA pilots welcome their WO brothers with open arms, and they travel at MAINLINE priority, even better than what 9E is getting. I guess it's too much to ask Delta pilots to show the same class.
Sorry for the interruption, go back to complaining about a Delta owned/managed/operated/controlled airline getting things a bit better so they don't get bumped going to/from work (to grow YOUR profit sharing check, of which they see a big fat $0) by grandma going on a day vaca.

I would advise not accusing some on here as lacking class as that can easily reflect the same on you. Look at the much older, bigger picture at play here. Given what a lot of Delta pilots have gone through in their careers, this change as they are being sent out to pasture is yet another in a long string of kicks in the jubblies. Can you really blame them for being a little emotional about this?
The bottomline here is you gained a benefit at the expense of mainline retirees with dreams and plans to travel during their well earned retirements. What’s worse is there is nothing mainline and Endeavor employees can do about it without attempting to put all of this in their respective contracts.

When i retire the airport is the last place you are going to find me.
I was a regional pilot for five years prior to getting hired by NWA/Delta. Never once did it cross my mind to whine about how much better the mainline guys had it than me. I chose to spend my time building up my resume to give myself the best chance of making it to the mainline when my time came to interview.
So in my opinion, no, you aren’t getting it right.

Others rationalize and whine.

Does 9E have a commuter clause?
A slightly better non-rev priority isn’t the answer to this “problem,” since getting to work should probably be higher priority than any leisure travel. DALPA and the 9E reps should fight to make this right for everyone, both 9E crews and the DL retirees that have earned a benefit after decades of service to the company.
BTW, anyone know why this is suddenly popping up? And how long will it be before 9E gets a slice of the profit sharing (since we “all work for the same company”)?

Getting to work is less of an issue with commuter clauses, but it would be nice to be able to get back home in a semi timely fashion without retirees' adult kids (who have never worked a day in the airline industry) bump you to go on spring break.
You are always welcome to reinstate our flow through or simply staple us and bring everyone (and the planes) onboard to the bottom of the Delta list.

How does listing for the higher commute priority work? Is there any way for the the system to prevent abuse of the new privilege?
