Let me get this straight. Delta pilots sell their scope and get profit-sharing checks off the backs of the lesser paid pilots at the Delta-owned airline managed by Delta employees that flies Delta passengers in Delta-owned airplanes, then complain about those lesser paid pilots getting half-decent nonrev priority to be able to commute to work, WHICH IN TURN gets Delta pilots a bigger profit-sharing check... Am I getting this right?

I was a regional pilot for five years prior to getting hired by NWA/Delta. Never once did it cross my mind to whine about how much better the mainline guys had it than me. I chose to spend my time building up my resume to give myself the best chance of making it to the mainline when my time came to interview.

So in my opinion, no, you aren’t getting it right.

Excellent rebuttal

For the record, it's mainly ALPA that grinds my gears. But I do expect mainline employees to be more humble and knowledgeable than what has been displayed here.

That's great but what about the other way around? Is it OK for mainline guys to complain when regional guys finally catch a break?

I don’t see this benefit in your TA and now current contract. So, don’t lose sight of the fact that it was given to you as recruiting tool, not out of the goodness of Delta's heart. That said, when the time comes that it is no longer needed you most likely should to lose it and go back to the old way.

I don't disagree, but it's beside the point.

The funny thing is Endeavor doesn't even have priority on their own meal. Delta and Endeavor both fly as S3 on 9E flights, sorted by DOH. DL retirees (S3C) go above 9E retirees (S4), parents, and dependants too (S3CR).

Don't see any of you picking up your pitchforks for this "injustice".

AA pilots welcome their WO brothers with open arms, and they travel at MAINLINE priority, even better than what 9E is getting. I guess it's too much to ask Delta pilots to show the same class.

Sorry for the interruption, go back to complaining about a Delta owned/managed/operated/controlled airline getting things a bit better so they don't get bumped going to/from work (to grow YOUR profit sharing check, of which they see a big fat $0) by grandma going on a day vaca.

Well...you are mixing apples oranges and bunnies to come up with a stew of discontent.

So no. You are not getting it even in the same universe with 'right'. Sorry i cant be any more complete in an answer to your question.
