Can you put it on any day of the trip and drop the whole trip?

Yes you can but you canNOT greenslip on or over an APD day (or vacation days either). You CAN greenslip over regular PD days.

Yes, but remember, you cannot fly on the day you APD'd. Say it's a 4 day trip, 1-4 Aug. You could put your APD on Aug 4 and drop the whole trip, then pick up a trip on 1-3, but not on Aug 4.

BUT, once you've used your APD, it's gone. Just because you only used one APD day, the others do not remain for another use, they all go when you use one APD day.

Oh, and we used to get 5 PAID APD days too! You got paid for the trip you dropped, but again, you cannot fly over any day(s) you APD'd.

How long ago was it that we got paid for an APD? I've advocated that for awhile. I also wish we could trade our worthless buddy passes for once a year PS tix for our family.

IIRC, we lost those in the 1992/93 turmoil.

Great idea, and now that I know the city's policy for that airport, I plan accordingly, just frustrating when you show up 30 mins prior to departure (to get thru a 5min security line) and there is some added, unneeded level of hassle put there by people who probably never travel and sit on a board for an airport that has 8 RJ flights a day over 4 airlines. Oh and the desk is already vacant cause all the revenue pax have already checked in.

Guess it pays to plan accordingly if your not in uniform, at least in EUG and SYR for now.

Default DH to FUK

I couldn't resist the title...

So there's a trip I'll got with a DH into FUK...long flight not wanting to wear uniform at all. I assume as a deadheader that you process through customs with the inbound crew...? So are civilian clothes ok with ID?

You might be OK with just an ID, but if I were you I would wear dark pants and being a uniform shirt and change before you go thru customs and immigration. Will make life easier.
