I'm also not sure why you have quotation marks around the word "Delta" when referring to our passengers. We are 100% owned by Delta and exclusively fly Delta passengers. Not "Delta" passengers .

In any case, you're entitled to your own opinion. But I'm sure if you were me and got denied boarding because some mainline employee with green hair, a bolt in his eyebrow and a hire date months after me gets on my planned flight home ahead of me, you'd be as upset as me when it happened.

Also, FYI, AA doesn't have this type of hierarchy in their non-rev agreement. Whether you work for mainline or their regionals, everyone travels at the same priority. Because at the end of the day, they all contribute to the same bottom line (as do we).

let me guess, you think you are entitled to Delta's profit sharing too?

That's a bad example, Endeavor uses Delta payroll to save money.

That's funny, I didn't think Delta even used "Delta payroll" to do Delta payroll, seems like it is all outsourced nowadays.

Accounting is usually outsourced. Although, Delta has over a dozen subsidiaries. Does anyone know what New Sky does?

First of all, AA's non-rev system SUCKS!

Second, what about the retiree that see's an endeavors FA's daughter with green hair and a nose ring with a DOH date of 6 months ago, boarding before the 38yr retiree does?

But as many pointed out, it's not our decision to make. I just pray that by the time I get to retire the regional contract airlines will largely be an artifact of the past.

How does what their daughter is wearing have any relevance at all? What about a Delta gate agent's daughter with a nose ring and purple hair? Should she not go ahead of retirees either because of some sense of superiority? Fact is, retirees have all the time in the world to non-rev. They should absolutely go behind all active Delta employees and I'm fine with a Delta owned regional going ahead of retirees.

If you read the quoted post, poster was complaining about a green haired, eyebrow stud wearing dependent of a newly hired Delta employee going ahead of Endeavor pilot trying to get home.

I'm not making a case for either, was just stating the opposite of his post with the same salacious details.

This is another case in which opinions are like Axx holes, everyone has one, and some are just stinky, but in this case mgmts is the only one that matters.

But you’re ok bumping a regional pilot on their own metal.

I actually have been bumped of the Jumpseat several times. It’s their jet, those are the rules.

A little confused here...why would you feel ok with someone who never spent a minute working for Delta, ie; employee parent, to have better priority than someone who spent a career helping Delta get to where it is today.
