No, I don't believe that will work. If you had no trip on the 2nd, you could YS and get pay/credit for the 2 days in August paid on top of your August schedule.

But I am pretty sure CS will see the August trip and not give you the trip.

I thought the automation would prevent this anyway? Is that not the case?

This is actually legal to do. What you can’t do:
Non rev list on multiple flights same city pair
Non rev list and Jumpseat list on the same flight
Multiple Jumpseat listings on same city pairs. This would include listing on one in Lga and one in Jfk

Thanks for the clarification.

It did not a few years ago. I don’t know about today.

Interesting hearing that. At UAL we can’t reserve the JS so it’s actually considered a d-bag move to NOT list for both. JS is Cap’s discretion but it is seniority based unless there is an underlying reason why the Capt doesn’t want someone in it. IE Scab etc.

By listing for both, commuters have a better idea who is and is not JS eligible to be see the actual chances of getting on. Same goes for FAs.

When you list for the jumpseat at Delta it’s yours unless a fed bumps you. If that happens going to work you get positive space in back even if a paying passenger must be bumped.

I just go rerouted on reserve into my vacation day today. Does anyone know what kind of pay I should receive if any? My time card doesn’t show any additional pay. Thanks for the help.

Crew Tracking won't do that if you tell them you have a vacation day or Golden X day. Tracking "can't see" your whole schedule, they just see the trip you're on.
