That person who is "losing seniority" was one number senior every month they were out on leave. Furthermore, the bottom hundred or so pilots wouldn't be on property if we didn't routinely have a hundred or so out on mil leave any given month. I get that setting foot on property and dropping 5 years of mil leave may be viewed in bad taste. I've seen this happen a few times and knowing the circumstances behind the mil leave often paints a different picture.

Pilots used to separate from the military to come to Delta, but now we have a reputation for stealing retirements, slashing wages and furloughing pilots. This behavior may have been self induced by Delta, but nobody likes to talk about that.
