As to the discussion of numbers of 50 seaters: I definitely believe we needed a limit or management certainly would have bought more, but management is no longer in love the small RJ and looking to get rid of them whenever they can without spending $$ they don’t need to spend.
Several 200's don't fly, they are spares parked at the closed end of C concourse in DTW.

Sailing, quick question. Whats run first, WS, PD or Swaps? If I have a Swap in, could I not get it if someone, (even junior to me) has a straight WS in? So if I really want it, should I PD and WS to give myself the best chance?
Thanks

If you're feeling lucky, drop then WS. WS processes before swaps. Learned that the hard way. Fortune favors the bold!

I met up with the Legendary Denny Crane in SEA - all I can say is that he is as generous as he is wise.

Thanks Denny!

Lol! Thanks for a great evening Scoop! It was great meeting you too. I thoroughly enjoyed it! If anybody else gets to Seattle on a layover, PM me and I’ll meet you for a couple beers (or wine) if I’m home.

Denny

Default Reserve Bid Question

It's been a while since I've bid reserve... does PBS care about carry in credit, or does it just look at days available?

PBS treats carry in trips as reserve days with flying already assigned. The carry in credit will credit toward your guarantee.

It carries in, what I have found is nothing really matters until you get yourself into the next bucket. Then you have a little protection but if they are short throw everything out the window and wait for the phone to ring.
Reserve is something that isn’t terrible here but I believe we could improve greatly in next contract

What’s the strategy for bidding in coming out of IQ training? I finish training Oct 3rd so I’m guessing TOE and IOE will follow soon after. Should I try and group all my flying in the beginning of the month so it falls into the shadow period?
