My schedule says no reroute pay due to Wx. 23. L 8

PWA says no reroute if destination airport is closed or weather enroute. Any idea what the standard is for weather enroute. Seems pretty nebulous.

Already wrote DALPA scheduling but awaiting a reply.
What was the reroute and reason?

Rerouted into a 2nd day due to timing out on day 1. Also caused my CQ sims to be cancelled as the second day was my travel day. As of now that 12 hours of pay is gone as well. Can’t find anything in the PWA that says I’m protected on that.

I have emails into DALPA on both these issues but haven’t heard back.

What was the reroute for? That’s the key.

1 day trip with DH back to base on the last leg. Rolling delays into MSP that day (due to Wx or more likely snow removal) Got To MSP too late for the last flight back to base (and I was over PWA scheduled) so RR was to DH back late the next morning.

My schedule says no RR pay due to Wx. PWA says no pay if destination airport closes or “weather enroute.” Just wondering what the bar is for Wx enroute. WX was bad in Minny but never closed the airport.

I suspect if the airport was ground stopped that will count as being closed. ALPA will get you the definitive answer.

SIAP, but where did the monthly Flight Ops newsletters go, ie Flying Ops, Crew Resources, Flight Standards etd? They used to be in content locker under Flight Ops Comm and Newsletters. There I only see Fleet Newsletter (excellent) and Weekly Update(not so great)

They want you to go on Skyhub for that .

You can still find that stuff on deltanet... as long as you don't use the search function.

But you have to be online (DeltaNet) to see it? Much more convenient on the tablet, downloaded and then viewed at your leisure(offline) What the heck is Skyhub?
