However, Denny is a 330 Captain. And we all know how those 330 Captains have quite high culinary standards. 😁

And my waistline can prove it!:)

Actually my wife and I are going to Ft. Riley to visit our youngest and lend moral support to him while he PCS’s from there to Ft Leonard Wood. He’s a 1LT in the Army.

I’m looking at nonreving to MCI then renting a car/truck. I’d like to turn it in in STL because it looks closer to FLW but may just drive the extra hour or two and return it back to MCI. I’d save a couple hundred bucks.

Regain currency

Say you're NQ due to currency as a reserve, can the company unilaterally just assign you a sim during your upcoming X days. Don't we have any say on not working during our days off? Seems weird that several "on call" days go by with no training, then first X days.....bam!

Sounds like you had/have a recency problem. Did you get the pop up that asks you for a 15 day (I think) window to schedule it? I don’t know what the rules are if you go noncurrent but I suspect they can do it.

On the bright side you should get paid more for doing it on days off versus on call days. I know that doesn’t help if you had plans…

sorry for this completely random question but does any nwa guy remember at the end of 2007, what terminal did nwa park at lax? Like around dec 2007.

And in summer 2010, did delta use terminal 6 at lax for domestic flights?

.....nwa t2.

I was awarded a new category on the latest MOAB. No training plan has been posted but “Required” documents for that upcoming fleet are already being pushed to my EFB and flagged as must read. Is this normal?

The flagged and pushed docs are normal.

The list taking this long to publish is longer than normal.

Not only is it normal but now you will get duplicate updates on common manuals and the All Pilots Bulletins until the "mystical EFB gurus" remove your old airplane stuff.

Oh yeah... filled out the popup form, and usually in the past I've been sked for recency with about 2 weeks to go, this time, Delta ignored it and let me expire. Actually only needed one more landing to get another 30 days and have a line again in MAY.

Well that sucks. Just as a side note, there has been a couple of time when I’ve entered the dates just as you did but fell thru the cracks somehow. I’ve called then about a week before the window of days I entered and I get “huh” don’t know how we missed you, thanks for the call. Shortly thereafter it’s on my schedule.

It’s the age of the Computer. HAL did it! (Or didn’t in your case):)

HAL would be a welcome improvement over some aspects of Delta IT:D I’ve had similar experiences to Denny. I’ve also had them call and ask if I could do it on days off, but they did say it was only a request. If I preferred I could have expired and then done a requal on my next reserve days.
