Not able to and being unwilling to are two different things

 

So ahhh... how does everyone like their new keyboard

 

This changing passwords on Deltanet and all the associated apps and all our devices is getting really old.

In this day and age? Really Delta IT?

 

I only change one password once a quarter. How's many times are you changing yours?

 

Thats all. PW and shorts...once a quarter.

 

I think his point is that every time you change the password, there are now multiple devices and apps that need the new password.

 

Yep. Phone, Mac and iPad. Deltanet, iCrew direct, iCrew Mobile and email apps.

No other entity I use (mortgage, CC’s, email, bank, Facebook, about a dozen utilities, Fidelity, car loans, investment websites ...) is this Amish.

And don’t get me started with “Just clear your cache ...” solution to dead links on Deltanet.

As much as I love to complain about this too, we actually have it pretty dang good compared to other airlines and my friends in other industries. "This day and age," we're lucky we don't have many more passwords/reset requirements. Yes, cache clearing is ridiculous.

 

So instead of my usual endless complaining about dead links and other glitches on DLnet I actually got proactive and tried to fix the problem. I called and the IT rep didn't understand when I said the url was wrong for various links on DLnet and the "problem" got listed as "unable to access My Tools" when I later got an email response about it. I've been emailing back and forth and to their credit they are still working on the problem but the links still don't work...

To no one in particular...are we ever going to get a MiCrew that fully replaces iCrew? Or will we just be stuck with three versions that all do slightly different things for the next ten years? Does anyone know who to email, etc. about our dissatisfaction with 1980s iCrew? Every chance I get I put it in company surveys.

I hate to complain so much because I really love flying for Delta but man iCrew just drives me nuts! Don't hit "OK" to save this entry, you must use pf12!

 

I do hate having to change my password every 90 days, but what I hate more is NEVER being able to repeat a password. I no longer remember my earlier passwords and I am having trouble coming up with new ones.
