What does 14sv and 14pv stand for on the monthly bid award wide reports?

The first 2 weeks of vacation pay more than the remaining weeks, and they are coded differently in pbs to show the proper credit.

PV is primary vacation
SV is secondary vacation

Are GS’s now awarded beyond next day? Someone just got one for the 16th.

Is this new?

I know trips to location that may require malaria meds are covered 2 days in advance.

That’s it. Thanks!

Yup, eerily quiet when there is good news. As I stated earlier, International flying will increase as the 767-400s come out of cabin refresh. I expect more announcements as this and 777s come out of refurbishment. Those who patiently waited out the 767-400 domestic transcons will be rewarded. This increase in flying will certainly make the September AE interesting.

Nice to see more transatlantic service out of Boston. And good to see us preemptively positioning against Jetblue's upcoming 'mint' service to Europe.

The gate reclaim/up gauging going in in BOS will help a lot, but its the potential next phase international terminal shift that will really take it up a notch if/when it happens several years from now. Imagine the Taj Mullin being used completely for high efficiency, up gauged domestic along with 7-8ish new gates (with customs) dedicated to international (with A+the current customs terminal) still able to be used as intl overflow if needed.

In any case in a very short period of time we're going from distant 3rd to absolutely dominant 2nd with the ability to conduct counter war-fare in any markets we choose.

There’s a joke that goes something like:
What’s the mating call of a blonde?
I’m sooo drunk.
What’s the mating call of an ugly blonde?
I said I’m drunk!

Plenty of analysis on JetBlue that points to the founder and initial investors intended to have it purchased and merged as their profitable exit strategy rather than run it long-term. In that context, with little to no overseas network to feed transatlantic flights from the eastern side of the Atlantic (plus a ton of other salient considerations to the transatlantic market), the “We’re going to start transatlantic service (a couple of years into the future)” announcement sounds a little like, “I said I’m drunk!”
