Thx a bunch

Google Maps allows you to select a route and adjust the time of day and day of week.

Theoretically, could they assign a 7 day transition trip that wipes out the first week of my April off days (as a lineholder)? I think if I had reserve X days in April they could assign me the trip and use payback days but not positive about lineholder status. Thx!

Short answer is, YES they can, and they do it all the time. Section 23 N. covers the coverage sequence. You're a better target for assignment going from RES to REG and having those days off, than you are going RES to RES and having XX days. And you will not get those days back as a REG line holder. You will receive single pay and credit only. Assigning that trip to someone as a Green Slip is much further down the coverage sequence list.

I'm gonna take a break from APC..but just wanted to say congrats to Mike for getting hired here at DL and I know he'll have a great career.

Thank you. I haven't had to go through your personal problems and also feel like my life would probably be better if I didn't spend quite so much time on APC. Anyway no hard feelings, I'd be happy to sit down over a beer with you or any other DAL pilot who thinks I've represented the company or my former weapon system poorly and find some common ground.

So does WAZE. Also waze uses real time users speed to calculate quickest route and alerts to other problems down line.

One of the worst times of your life I know. My advice: Put your kids first if you have them, try not to be too bitter toward your ex if possible, for your kids sake, take care of your health, and date a lot! All the best to you. Plenty of us have come through it and could never have imagined how great life can be a while down the road.

Thanks 50, great advice..

Thank you RD... I will keep my two golden days at end of month to prevent a huge disappointment in April!

This has to change. Unless it's an inverse assignment, your days off are days off and should be protected. It's amazing to me that this is allowed in our contract.

Yup. I had three days at the end of last month, with nothing going into this month (had a vacation a few days later). I tried YSing a three day and was even told by a scheduler that I'd get that three-day. Low and behold, I was awarded a five day! So yeah, protect your last day with a golden day!
