Yet that's exactly what we did in C2012. We pilots voted to give up part of our profit sharing in exchange for a raise. Crazy, isn't it.

What about RA's statement would lead you to the contrary? RA is simply poking us in the eye early by telling us we're crazy for giving up part of our profit sharing to fund pay raises...again. He already knows it's a given. Labor risk is completely off the table here.

I was just under $190K for 2014 and I got hit for $88 AMT. I use turbotax FWIW. I googled it and didn't feel like reading a whole lot into it but I saw somewhere that it kicks in @ $175K

Just for the curious or bored, the PAS (Pilot Activity Statement) part of DeltaNet now shows a whole lot more data than it used to. Shows your D0, A14 percentages. And you can compare them to others in your category, base, etc.

Oh, and you can do that with pay - all types, including sick time.

I put in for a GS on Monday. All the flights from my home to ATL are just about completely full and the jump seats are taken. Should I cancel the request or would scheduling have the option of booking me a positive space ticket? My highest priority is to NOT be a no-show, after that extra money would be cool.

Monday GS would usually be filled Sunday (or Monday, as required).

If you get called, be up front and tell the scheduler you would like to fly the trip but are commuting from XXX and will need PS due to flights being full. If they need you badly enough, they will do it.

Be sure to put a reasonable notification time in the qualifiers--don't tell them you can get there in 3 hours if you need to commute in.

You'll be on your own to get home, though.

Thanks, I put a 14 hour notice in since I'm commuting in.

Now I know this goes against all rules of playing nice, but I missed out on a GSWC because I put a time qualifier in. I was commuting up that day anyway and arrived before 2 of the pilots...in fact 2 hours before 2 of the pilots. No more time qualifiers for me.

Unless it's not the company pushing for it. I mean with 12500 pilots we have 14000 ideas on how we should be paid. Maybe it's from our side, after all who calls PS at risk pay anyways?

I am new to this, but I thought that once you answered your phone you were committed to taking a green slip and the commute was on you.

I really hope when we go into negotiations DALPA calls it at risk pay. The company will try and call it compensation and use it to keep our rates lower. When your addressing the NMB what would you call it?
