Question for those in the know. I'm currently finishing up initial a/c training in MSP and about to start OE. Someone told me that after OE was finished, that I had the option of dropping the rest of the month and just getting paid the credit that I had accumulated thus far in the month vs. being time available per the PWA. I talked with training scheduling and they didn't have a clue either way. So I called crew scheduling and they gave me a big negative. However, it's in their interest for me to not drop the last ten days of the month so I want to pursue it. Any Delta-S'ers have any knowledge of this? If not, who do you recommend that I ask?

Christmas cheer? This bid is going to put a damper on Christmas for a large number of ATL pilots. Suffice to say if you are an ATL pilot, update your displacement preferences. You are going to need them.

The worst part is they can't post awards til after SOC (Jan 1?).
This is going to be a long, tense wait.

Happy New Year. Welcome to Detroit.

Let's go to Guam, it's a low hanging fruit. With the increased presence of US military, the total population of Guam is expected to increase by 25% by 2014. CAL is pulling back so let's go get it!

ATL? Is that still a base? I heard they were shutting it down. The writing is on the wall, you can see it in the crew room bathroom. Right above the urinal. It has grafitti on it. Says EAT ME most of the time.

I need to know where the slots are going to be in order to update them... post the bid already!

I started a spreadsheet to work on it and realized I couldn't do anything with it until i knew what was moving where.

You should have the option of a "blank regular line" for the remainder of the month. You get no guarantee, buy you can pick up trips in open time if you want to fly.

Section 23 D. 19 is your reference point in the contract

In other words FNWA metal is going away sooner than expected and said pilots will be absorbed by AE into ATL?
