When your trip gets bought for OE has scheduling still been calling to release you from it ~3pm the day prior, or did I read that they are making us actually show for the trip now?

Thats been going on for more than a year. No language to help you either. Sometimes the checkairman can get a ioe student to show up and check in early if you need to grab you a flight home.

Ah, thanks. Guess I'll have to commute in and get a hotel just to be released the next morning then!

Changing HSA Contributions
What is the easiest/best way to change your contribution amount? DO I go to DELTANET or to the Optum website? I searched the DNET and could not find it so specific info would be very helpful. Thanks. :)

Scoop [You can also add contributions from your checking account through Optum, but they will be after-tax. Probably not what you want to do.] |

They have not updated the software in 20 years, nor do they intend to. I actually had a phone call with a technical support rep about this, and he seemed almost offended when I suggested something resembling a 2005 interface, much less anything nearer to 2020. So, do you like the following?
1. Seeing an "export to Palm Desktop Calendar" option. 2. Seeing a reminder that the Outlook calendar option "requires Outlook 98 or newer" 2. Having to sit at your Windows PC--and no other--to use the Windows-only-on-your-hard-drive software to submit open time alerts, or to use EasyBid or EasySwap (for those guys who use those products). No app, no web interface, no ability to use a Chromebook, iMac (unless running Windows or a Windows emulator), iPad, smart phone, you get the idea. All that said, the open time alerts--amazingly--are a very useful feature that I have also found lucrative, like Sailing has. I just wish that Sabre (who bought FDS years ago for their Flica product which Delta doesn't use) would update the two decade old software, But as long as you accept that they won't, the open time alerts are still pretty nice. Then there was the automated jumpseat booking.... |
