Just curious? What day of the month do sim instructors receive their schedule? Is it the 14th of the month like the A’s or what?

nope. The 20th! And if the 20th falls on a weekend, then it’s AFTER the weekend.

but you get 4 golden X days, and 2 soft X days to pick per month. I never had them violated

thanks Drum. I plan on reaching out to the LCA after the holiday and seeing their take. I really would rather not waste my time commuting and instead go golfing...even though I suck lol

The bright side is...if you dollar cost average the $$$ per round/strokes ....., the worse you are, the better the investment. A poor player (like myself) also gets to enjoy the great outdoors more because the round takes so long....looking for the errant balls and all those extra swings, what? Add in all the practice swings on top of all the extra strokes needed, now we are talking a superb investment! At least that is what I keep telling me 'ole self as I struggle to "enjoy" the frustration.

FORE !!!!

that's exactly what I tell myself. I'm getting the value out of taking 3 tee shots on that Par 5 that I keep shanking it on...hey, at least I golf with people who don't care and give me as many mulligans as I want!

Any higher fidelity data on what's going on in ATL717? Next month shows 456 FOs to 213 captains -- all the displaced ATL717a's who chose reinstatement are supposed to be reinstated in August with July training which is a minimal footprint but I haven't heard/seen any type of training scheduled (anybody have an anecdote that differs?) I saw the most recent flight ops email stating there would be additional 717a positions available yet none of the conversion lists show any movement on the 717a side as of yet. Seems odd that there are at least 10 717a reinstatements from the last AE that are still unfilled, most ATL717a reserves are being flown to guarantee ++ every month while the more senior B's don't turn a wheel, and the company hasn't taken very simple and achievable steps to help ease the burden.

They actually pushed it up to the 17th regardless if it falls on a weekend.

Anybody know what is the current version of ARCOs? Is this something we have to update? I tried to watch the DELTANET video and it didn't appear to match the options on my phone via the APP. I got a blast and there were about 6 rotations available and I was having trouble putting them in order so I aborted and instead enjoyed the time off but I need to figure it out.

Are any of the videos on DELTANET applicable and if so where are they?

Thanks Scoop

I think the 717A's are just short staffed like most of the other categories. While the Company put UNA's on the 717B since it's the lowest paid aircraft. At least that is my guess. The 717 seems like a dead category and I predict it wont last too much longer..The 717 cannot even supplement the very short staffed 737 or 320 because it only holds 110 paxs.

I don't necessarily disagree, but they just announced pulling more out of the desert to bring us up to 63 online. They're supposedly going to put more 717As on the next AE. Also hearing that the retirement may have been pushed out to 2026 now (which may fall into your definition of "too much longer"), with a possibility of pulling the rest out of storage. I'm guessing pulling the rest out of storage has something to do with whether they get the RJs or not. It appears to be like the DC-9 that lasted way longer than planned. My bidding plan counts on the 717 going away in DTW in the next year or so, so I'm not exactly holding out hope it lasts a long time here lol.
