Name tags are easier to see that John / Jane Smith who flies for Delta is not at their house.

I'm sure if I was constantly removing and replacing it I'd lose it on the first day. Is this really that big an issue? I'm not "bombable" and I don't interact with passengers unless I absolutely have to.

Don't sell yourself short.

There are a few pilots that use a nickname, that or their parents didn't like them much.

I display my ID when and where I am required.

The name plate serves no purpose.

If you have 3 payback days, is it possible to use only one of them to drop a 3-day trip? Or is it required to use all three in that situation?

Only if it’s a spillover trip

In weekly update Mask must be worn down preflight in cockpit. My glasses fog up so I guess I will not start preflight until cabin secure

A little bit of surgical tape on top of the mask solves fogging just like it does for surgeons operating for hours. I know several pilots have found an anti-fog cloth wipe to be a game changer for avoiding mask-fogging.

I know that's not as fun as being grumpy about company policy, but it'll help you navigate the terminal with all that fog.

Didn’t the actual bulletin say it must be worn UNTIL the WARTS brief and preflight checklist. Sounds like when you have to read/talk you can take it off.

Lot of masks out there have a bendable nose clip as well which eliminates fogging.

nope. Cabin secure and ready to push. Temporarily off for warts and check list.
