No real Ferraris were harmed during the filming.

Unlike the Porsche in risky business. :)

Interesting aside to that movie. Originally the car they took downtown was a Miata. John Hughes subsequently found a used Ferrari GT.

One is a symbol of elegance and engineering to this day, even more so in 1986 when the film released. The other is a Miata.

They were off loading an "Enzo" in downtown Chicago a few years ago, I told the two girls standing next to me, " Whom ever they give the keys to, grab him."

You can cover pay loss by using vacation time (not vacation days) by having scheduling apply the code VACB to the PD day. It's not for everyone but it's an option.

Or you can do it yourself on your time card with the full service bank.

The Miata came out in 1989.

Take it up with the guy saying the miata was suppose to be in a movie from 1986. I'm focused in on the choice between a miata and a ferrari. The only fantasy i was focusing in on is that there is any choice.

Question for scheduling gurus:
Currently have a RSV line for OCT. Days OFF 1-15. On RSV 16-31. (Single block of 16 days.) Trying to move four OFF days from 05-08 and put them on 16-19. Computer saying this violates OFF day grouping requirements.

I can't see where this is not a compliant trade. Results would be only two blocks of RSV and it does not cause a 30/168 violation that did not exist prior to the trade. RSV grouping in my category were 3-99-5 for the OCT bid period. Anyone can explain what I'm missing?

You can’t move X days from the middle. Any move has to come from the beginning or end of an X day block. The resulting schedule still has to comply with the 3-99-5.

As mentioned by Texan the move has to be from the front or back end of your X days. Assuming there is adequate reserve coverage you can try and do it in two Separate PCS runs. Move 12-15 to 16-19 and then next run move 05-08 to 12-15.

Seems like it would work but I’ve been confounded more then once by our onerous x day move rules.

Agree that this is how icrew works, but does anybody know if that is what the contract dictates?
