There's no "probably" about it. Schedules all being released at the same time would just move everyone to the contract limit though.

Wrong. The captain *****ing would move it to the front end.

Just change it so that A's can't be released until all awards are released. Problem would be solved in a week.

I know you jest (I am guessing) but that would eliminate the ability to fly with lCA or fly with/avoid your favorite captain.

He didn’t say run them together, just wait until the b’s are done to publish the a’s

SEA and SLC? What kind of alphabetical order is this? ATL will not stand for this.

Landing currency

Just got my schedule. I run out of landing currency on 4 Jan. Next trip isn’t until the 14th. How does training get scheduled? What if I’m not available for training until the 14th?

Thanks

Have you gotten the pop-up message in iCrew asking you to say which dates you are available? You have to give them 14 days that you are available:

A pilot who has been notified of the pending expiration of recency will designate 14 days in which he may be scheduled for recency training in a simulator or indicate how he will satisfy recency prior to expiration (e.g., fly a rotation, participate in a training event) at least 21 days before such expiration.

PWA 11.F.18

I suspect if you aren't available at all, they might drop your trip without pay.

You should have had a pop-up upon iCrew login that asked you to provide 14 days of availability. If you don't have any availability then any trips dropped after you expire may not be pay protected.
