Ok, where is KCM in DTW? Not where it used to be. MiCrew says Westin...I’m gonna need it in a few hours. Thx

I recommend downloading the ALPA app if you don’t already have it. Once logged in you’ll be able to see all of the KCM’s across the country plus lots of great jumpseat info.

A220

A220 peeps.....does the 220 have a heads up display on the FO’s side, as well as satellite communication (telephonic) installed?

No HUD on either side and no SATCOM. No HF radios either.

Do you like flying it, or should I stick to the 737?

It’s ok, but I find things I like and dislike about every plane and this one is no different.

The FBW feels weird compared to the real Airbus, the FMS is neither Boeing nor Airbus nor McDonnell so it really doesn’t have any commonality to anything you’ve flown before, it doesn’t auto load many things other planes do including performance info and overall it feels like a bizjet that got a bunch of seats put in it. The positives are it’s pretty roomy, quiet and my juniority works out so I can get commutable trips. Plus there’s not two decades of moldy peanuts and fingernail clippings scattered around the cockpit.

If you’re who I think you are then you’ll have no trouble transitioning to it, either left or right seat, and have a pretty good time flying it. Additionally, since it’s a relatively new, junior fleet the crews are fun to fly with. Very few bitter BTDT guys.

If I bid a trip in May that has two days of carry out (10:05) and subsequently bid a reserve line in June, does my June schedule get reduced by 2 on call days? Or do I still do the 16 reserve days in June but have 10:05 of credit on my reserve line?

Those two will be two of your 16 reserve days and you'll have 10:05 of credit accumulated.
