Being charged with something automatically means guilty now? I thought someone is innocent until proven guilty?

Okay, first time in ages I have a carry over trip next month (Jun. 1-3). I want to use a PB day to cover June 1. I found the form to use just one PB day. But my question is will PBS consider the PB leave request for a carryover trip for next month starting on April 19,20 (whenever it starts)? Thx

June first is still in the May bid period so PBS should drop it on the 20th on the first PBS run for the Amat bid period. You will only get credit for whatever was on June 1st though so make sure it’s a good credit (block and DH total that is) day to be worth it.

Anyone know how quick payroll operations is to respond to emails? Also if they are unhelpful is there a preferred union email to contact?

Good! June 1 is worth 11:30. That’s what I thought and exactly what I want. I just want to use 1 PB day on June 1. I just wasn’t sure it would be processed because coverage on June 2,3 is not known yet. I have other options but this is the top choice. Thanks.

Good question, I don’t know but have a question myself. I had a carryover trip from 30 March to 1 April. It showed closed on my time card shortly thereafter but for the last almost week it’s back to showing open...... Kinda wondering what’s up with that and whether I need to call someone.

I called pilot assist and they gave me two email addresses, one for training payroll(that turned out to be a dead address) and one for payroll ops. I finally got the right training address and they replied saying all was in order. Been 3 days now and no reply from payroll ops.

I definitely need to check the details more often than I do, but something doesn’t add up this month. My check was less than February and that was a min 72 hour month with zero trips. March has bounces over 2 X days so should’ve been significantly higher. Makes me wonder how often they screw this up.

Mine is also incorrect. Check your PAS statement as well. That’s how I noticed the mistake.

They had a message up on icrew a few weeks ago which is why I started watching closer. Apparently it’s not an isolated issue.

Is this basically a training issue? I haven't really checked my check since we stopped doing manual pay sheets a few weeks/months/ years/decades ago. Figure it will just average out. I check my time card...but I don't reconcile it with my paycheck. What exactly are you guys looking at....time card... pay statement....or bank deposit?

FangsF15 04-18-2021 02:57 AM

I also had to call and tell them they paid me at the wrong rate for training. If you are in a multi-rate category, make sure they paid you at the higher rate. Only place to catch that is the PAS.

They also did not pay me for the shadow period after training completed, but no OE scheduled. Per the PWA, you get ALV. Had to get CPO involved to fix the time card, but it wasn’t done until after the cutoff for this paycheck.

There seem to be a lot of pay issues going on.
