Don't believe anyone has touched on this yet, but in order for this scenario to work, assuming you're on Long Call, it has to be more than 10 hours to report to receive the GS. Otherwise you will show up on the trip coverage as 10 hours rest violation and you won't be considered.

Yep, and beyond 12 hours you would get it on long call (assuming you had the days required). So the space for a GS on reserve is small, and mostly on days off.

Just one more clarification. When you say long call, you mean physically on long call. You can get a short notice GS on a long call day as long as you are coming off a rest up until the minute you actually start your on call period.

Correct. This is when you are on long call during an on-call day, not on an X day.

Does anyone know how to access Daily Trip Coverage reports from greater than 60 days old? Trying to grieve a missed GS in December but can’t see the trip coverage anymore. Thanks!

Just fill out the scheduling committee submission form with the rotation and date (assuming you can remember) and we’ll look into it.

my "top men" source says hiring still on tap for the fall. Those who had a ground school cancelled will be put in class first; those who had scheduled interviews will have those honored.

PM sent - answers dependent on your seniority. If you’re in the 3000s or lower, it sucks. 4000s & higher could yield some honest answers 😎
