I agree with you. If you don't live in a DAL hub I'd never recommend DAL over any other major.

Why would you? I've always recommended to my friends to go to the airline that has a big hub near where they live. If they don't have any hubs nearby then go to FDX/UPS. When evaluating where to go, why anyone would willing choose to commute when they could drive to work/sit SC at home or get paid DH to/from? Any one company would be way better than the others if you had to ability to short call from your home for most of your career.

I'm not sure why these losers are trying to prop the company up with comparisons of the worst regionals and Delta of decades ago that made a small fraction of the money (yet whose PWA on a whole was worth much more when not cherry picking the bad reserve rules).

One doesn't need to compare to regionals to see the good in our reserve, we can compare ourselves to other legacies. In my case, I was comparing our reserve to the reserve of another legacy that I worked for. Our reserve is far superior to theirs.

Our reserve is better than any major passenger airline. Our pilots costs on both a per pilot and block hour basis are at or very near the top of all airlines worldwide. How that can be when posters here claim the contract is among the worst eludes me.
Let’s hope we don’t add global reserve like UAL has for its widebodies, Drum will spin himself up so fast he might make it to Mars and be the second helicopter to fly there!

Just get 7 days of doxycycline and take the first tab on the way across the pond if you can’t get malarone. You can get a scrip for it at any urgent care and CVS and Walgreens has it as well.

Not all would agree. I’ve been a line pilot for over 20 years and have never been in management, nor have any inkling to, and I vehemently disagree. DYODD. If an airline’s work rules, hat, coat, etc aren’t to your liking find one that is.

…followed closely by yet another MEC Chairman’s letter that doesn’t really say anything. WTF is that guy actually doing?

Does the Delta MEC start giving out negotiating strategies and ask lists to the pilots normally in a negotiation cycle?

On scope, they have committed to make resources available to find solutions. They have also discussed a protocol, but haven't finalized a protocol for engaging in scope discussions. (Discussing a protocol to have more discussions to find solutions on scope...great work MEC)

That entire letter said absolutely nothing. Might be redlined this summer, but the company doesn't intend to redline.. anyway, good luck with everything guys!

I miss Ryan already.

The smart choice is to poll FB before any negotiation.

That was funny. He probably would!
