Are white slips now being filled via ARCOS? I remember hearing something about this but not sure if it’s implemented or not. If so are they proffers like GSs?

Any gothcas on putting in blind WSs?

Thanks Scoop

Any ER drivers have any gouge about headsets? Last two fleets everyone just used ship sets but I remember the 73 when everyone had their own. Quiet enough to go topless? Hot mikes? TIA

not quiet enough to go topless but no intercom do one ear is always topless  I use a DC pro-x but I don’t use the noice canceling usually because of the one ear thing.

best bet is to buy some decent musician’s earplugs. $25 or so will make your life much better. The 753 and some of the 752s are crazy loud.

I use a dc prox but it usually comes off at cruise and earplugs go in

I’ve been wearing earplugs from pushback to shutdown for at least 2 airlines. I just don’t understand why so few others do the same.

(And hotel rooms.)

The more you wear them the more you get used to them.

People still do that!? I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I just don't understand the resistance to using the intercom. Does the 7ER intercom not work well or something?

I'd love to bid the 7ER but the lack of intercom use makes me think twice.

I use DC PRO-X2 and leave both ears on. Noise canceling works so well I can hear the other pilot fine (no interphone). On longer flights I'll take them off and use the speaker if the jets not too loud, most are okay but there are a few that are too high on the dBs

there’s no latching on the intercom so you have to PTT everything and that gets to be a pain in the terminal area.

the latching intercom switch and ability to Bluetooth some music to your headset makes the Airbus fleet very attractive
