Locals can volunteer for more short call to benefit from lack of relative use, and relieve the burden for those commuting in for short call. Be warned, YMMV.

That can be base and plane dependent. I often bid reserve by choice and I get used more often off of short call than long call. I live in base too and for me, I can't think of any reason to volunteer for additional short call. YMMV.

You must call your CP and get permission.

I'll just add that the CP requests tend to be approved if an aire of legitimacy exists: I was okayed to take my daughter to move in her dorm at university, and even to attend a LEC meeting, which happened to be conveniently adjacent to a picket event. FYI offline pass travel is included in the restriction.

Same thing for Tennessee. They are ripping my heart out.
It looks like you and I have the same problem today.

No. They are going nuts.

Edit: no, you were right. Must be the time difference between where you are and where I am.

I am returning from some leave and just heard the Oasis in NYC closed. Anyone know of a similar setup for NYC commuters?

I went back and read the thread on the secrant.Com about the ut/uga game. When uga scored with 10 seconds left on what was an absolutely beautiful 50 yard bomb everyone was like omg omg omg omg omg. UT fans were like ####, ####, ####, #### our DBs suck, suck, suck. I think at that point espn had uga rightfully winning 99.9% with 10 seconds left.

Then a few pages later after everyone had made fun of UT you see out of the blue omg omg omg omg, uga fans like ####, ####, ####, #### and ut fans like ####, ####, ####, ####.

Never seen anything like that. Or the auburn lsu game either. The fsu and louisville games were crazy too.

I personally think football is a dieing sport thats killing it's players... but cfb is determined to kill it's fans first. 😆
