I'm envious.

I was right on the edge of taking it and still would have even if my date would have been last September 1. But being held over for this last year has made it darn near perfect for me. I’ll pay off my house with September 15 paycheck and will be completely debt free (don’t want to liquidate any investments to do it). This was always my goal for retirement. Also, since I turn 63 in October, I will only have to pay for one month of healthcare coverage before I go on Medicare. It would be hard to be any luckier......and as I’ve always said......it’s better to be lucky than good!:)

Thanks! I won’t be a stranger but will most likely reduce my number of posts (have been trying to do that for awhile).

Nothing is written in stone. Wife and I just found a place in Sun City, AZ to rent for Jan, Feb, Mar 2022. Plan is to go to different (warmer clime) places for those 3 months each year. We also will have 4 RT PS passes for 2 with the VEOP and the two we have received this last year. That takes care of vacation for the next 6 years!:) As far as day to day at home, I have plenty to do! Two houses to take care of, one on 5 acres.
