That used to work really good. Sometimes a day or so in advance. But (allegedly) some pinhead whiners (you know who you are) complained because their schedule "changed" when they took a non-binding, out of their way, known unofficial shortcut, look see and their worlds were rocked by the audacity. So then they tightened when even that was available to almost right before the official ones were out anyway.

ATL Bs are out!

Will iCrew look at a 3day trip ending between 0000 and 0200 as a 3day or a 4day for purposes of swap with the pot and dropping trips? I know it shows up as a 4day in the open time list but is it really treated that way?

It’s a 3 day for pay, but a 4 day for icrew purposes of dropping, swapping, etc.
MiCrew has a known bug where these display as a 3 day, but with the release time in Red between 0001-0200. But in iCrew, and for CS assignment purposes, it would be a 4 day. BTW, for GS/PB day purposes, a 1-day trip that releases after 0001 (blocks in after 1131), you get that 1 day of credit above Res Guarantee, but 2 + 21 hours of payback time. Almost 3 PB days for 1 day of work. (9 hours after release, then 12 hours of long call, then 2x24 hours for two X-Day interruptions before you can report again) |

It’s a PIA if you have one and are trying to get rid of it, but if you find one of those trips and don’t mind the late checkout, it give you access to another negative day of coverage to offset a drop someplace else. |
Question about using a payback day to drop a rotation. I see a high credit one day trip on the P2P swap/pickup board. If I pickup that trip can I still use the PB to drop it with full pay (assuming the RSV coverage is blue)? TIA
Edited to add: can I do this PB trip pickup then drop before the 20th of the month for next month's schedule? |
