All correct. The key you mentioned is you have to manually overwrite the month for the PU portion. I used it often to pick up a desirable trip in the current month and drop trash in the following month. Usually would WS a better trip in the following month. Since reserve coverage degrades as you get close in usually works even with poor overall reserves available. It’s also a good technique to build a big block of time off if you need it in the following month. If for instance your kids get out of school early June but you could not hold a June vacation you can easily build your own vacation with no loss of pay by shifting a June trip into May.

There are no close in rules other than the last window is 7am the day prior to the trip you want to pickup.

Are trips from the Pilot to Pilot Swap board treated the same as a normal trip once they're on your line?

Are there any restrictions to then using PB days or otherwise treating it as a normal trip? Same for out of base trips?

The only thing I see that's different is you can't pick up a trip you previously dropped via P2P Swap unless you do it via PCS.

out of base trips are manually assigned for the next day (or current day) after the 0700 PCS run occurs so there is no opportunity to drop the trip once it’s on your line.

That's how Swap With the Pot works but I was wondering about a Pilot to Pilot pickup. Or can't you pick up out of base on the P2P board?
