I’ll try to not make this confusing. I’m on reserve- I had already been awarded FULL on the 15th. Just got awarded a 4 day GS worth 21:00 hours. ALV is 76 hours so reserve guarantee is 74. Credit shows 59:39. I also have 30 hours vacation this month. My question is why is 7:09 showing as credit for the reserve GS instead of just all pay time? Also I should get 4 payback days-are those added manually later?-they are not showing on my time card. Thanks for any help in understanding this.

Can’t help with all of this, but WRT PB days; As I understand it, you only get the PB days for interrupted XX days. If you are full but were supposed to be on call, no PB days
ok thanks-3 of the 4 days were golden days. |

If your PB days aren't added correctly at time of award, then you'll need to call and get them fixed. WRT to the pay, it's going to be hard to know without seeing your schedule and the trip. I'd just call scheduling and tell them that you don't think your pay and PB days are correct. They'll look at it and correct it if needed. I've had to do this 2 or 3 times over the last couple months. I just assume they'll get it wrong anymore. |

In actual execution, vacation is pay no credit. With regard to the 7 hrs of credit (Vice pay) I’m assuming that was what you blocked/DH’d during the on call day of your GS. Scheds doesn’t have to put the PB days on your schedule until you are done with the rotation. |

Vacation is only pay and credit for line construction purposes.

You nailed it-the 7:09 is block of the on call day plus trip credit. Thanks again for the help.

So the flight was closed out, maybe even boarding door closed. You're considering trying to get the crew's attention, by what, waving your ID card from a window at the terminal? What exactly are you expecting the captain to do? Flights do depart early, especially if all the paying passengers are on board. Long gone are the days when the captain can demand the gate agent open up a closed flight again.
Not sure if you are a Capt or not but the Capt absolutely has the authority to get the gate agent to open up a closed flight. They may complain or put the late on the crew but so be it. Nothing moves till the parking brake is released. I’ve done it before for late connecting pax when the door is closed right at 10 mins early and you can see them frantically running up to the gate. Ive found most gate agents are happy to do it as long as they don’t get blamed for not meeting one of their metrics. |
