Anyone try to list non-rev on Southwest the last couple of days? A friend told me they were no longer taking phone listings and wanted us to list on my ID Travel. However, there isn't a way to select a specific flight (like AA). Anyone else hear anything? Also, no change on the DALPA Jumpseat page.

they still allow phone listing for jumpseaters. it's offline non rev that they dont do over phone anymore.

Three days under the new PWA and we already have an interpretation/implementation issue. Gotta love APC. You guys are arguing FOR the pilots, right?

This will continue to be entertaining. And I thought I'd quit reading after the PWA. :D Popcorn anyone? My prediction is sailing will take a company line on all these issues.

I try and take the line that gives the pilot the correct information.

The confirmed for less is refundable and you can change the flights without penalty. The confirmed for even less are is usually a few bucks cheaper but non-refundable. You get 2 free checked bags with both.

Careful with that. If the FCFL fare you get is based on an "off the shelf" non-refundable fee (which it almost always will be), then the FCFL fare is non-refundable as well.

There's gotta be a good story behind Seniority #13748 having a DOH of 9/7/2010 or just a typo

Most likely has been working for Delta in a non-pilot capacity since 2010. If you change divisions, you retain your DOH.

Does anybody know if move up vacation awards or CQ awards are processed first? I'm trying to move a vacation week during a month I have CQ. Side note, they cannot assign CQ during a vacation week correct?

Not sure the order. There are however no activities allowed over vacation. It's vacation, no work, let's hope it stays that way!

I have a partial IOE pull for my trip that starts tomorrow. It starts on day 2. In the past they've called by 7 the day before the trip, but those were for full trips. What do they do for partials? There are flights to deviate home from tomorrow, first one is before 7pm second closer to 9pm. Am I going to have to wait until the later flight because they won't tell me until 7pm?

Second question. So you can't schedule your back end deviation until you check in. What if the flight oversells before you check in? Will it still allow you to book on it or are you out of luck for that flight.

1) My experience has always been between 6 - 7pm, but if you call a little earlier they might help you out.

2) iCrew sometimes allows bookings on an oversold flight. It just depends on how many bookings are authorized. If iCrew won't let you reserve, the flight is booked to the maximum authorized and you'll need to try another flight or book a jumpseat.

On your first question it used to be that if in the middle the LCA would tell you when you are released after sign in. May have changed.
The DH deviation at the back end can only be booked after sign in. If the flight is oversold beyond some level you can't book it. Not sure since you would normally be released at your base if you have a DH to deviate from. If your being released from another base all good.
