Any recommendations on a last-minute cruise website that offers deals to airline employees? I know of Dargal.com and ID90.com, but any others? Also, in your opinion, which is better? (i.e. dargal, id90, etc.)

Thanks for the replies, looking to go tomorrow for a last-minute, three-day trip.

Cheers,
Elliot

VacationsToGo offers interline rates with less booking fees than Dargal. We've booked cruises through both and have been pleased with the service from both agencies. Sometimes you find better rates on the "luxury" lines vs their standard counterpart. For example, Princess vs Carnival.

AE closed a couple hours ago. How long do the results normally take; couple days, weeks?

It usually takes a couple days. I look for it to be out Monday afternoon. If they're on their game, maybe late Friday, but I would be very surprised to see that.

Friday is more possible this time since it is all narrowbody, and there will be lots of open positions for the noobs.

Vacationstogo.com has some pretty amazing deals for cruises inside 90 days.

How would "unwinding with ALPA" do anything to change the way mgmt has decided to strategically position the company?

I think even ALPA realizes that scope, and PS protection is the only way the union even gets an input into mgmts plans.

Wouldn't have a clue on your question concerning the alpa/dal mgt relationship and CBA change. You might address your question to J. Crane, seems he is now the expert on what is an alpa "excellent improvement" for alpa/dal mgt. Currently the only dalpa volunteer I know of that can use "excellent improvement" and the AIP info release in the same communication.

My comment was aimed at those looking to invest the next half of their lives in an airplane career. CBA controversy would be an unstable situation at any carrier, No? If I were in their shoes , I'd probably spell success... u.p.s. Sounds like you may be satisfied with the status quo here at dal? Glad it's working out for you.

Scope protection? I think alpa/dalpa realized their influence and strategic plans were worth pennies on the dollar just last year. How's that JV settlement treating you? Didn't quite make up for my last 5-6yrs of stagnation(and still going strong after that last advanced entitlement). Can't wait for them to 'get em next time' on scope.

At least we stopped the Donatelli 'single man' approval provision on giving away more dal flying in the TA2015 smack down. It was probably just a 'principle' thing, though, for the dal pilots. You're correct, dal will do whatever it wants.

PSharing? I'm guessing we gave up enough in the current AIPs to hang on to a portion of our current PS (but never say never). Unless they trade more of it for pay rates just to whittle it down to non contract levels. Don't ya just luv paying $50-60mil for the same thing the non contracts get... or worse. What a country!

Thanks for the feedback, how's this radio?
