Yes. THey just came out within the last 30 mins. My line was changed from what was posted a couple of days ago. Time to go see the trips. Is there an easier way to see the details without having to download the bid packet and dig them out?

Now, I'm not sure why you're saying that 1+1=3 shouldn't mean huge displacement bids like the one coming up. I see WB positions being awarded in NYC, DTW, and most likely in some other places too. The WB flying in ATL is not being terminated, it's simply being shifted to other bases. There are also more postitions available on this AE then surpluses, so I don't agree with your assessment. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems as if your implying that these displacments would be setting up for the F bomb,
I know nothing of "f's", but the facts are when the union and DAL folks said "1+1+3", that hasn't happened. I am glad they are adding some WB positions to ALEVIATE all the displacements from planes being parked. Do you see what I am saying? We are not growing, just shrinking and shifting. It amazes me how "it could be worse" has become the accepted mentality of recent. Stagnation is here, plan accordingly.

Yeah, the same CP who told me a couple of weeks ago that this AE would be neutral for the ATL pilots? I believe he was telling me the truth based on the information he had. I just don't think the CPs are as informed as one would think.

Go into ICrew, select future schedule, once you view it it will show you all of your rotations. Then select each one to see the trip specifics.

They did? I was just on there and as of 0939 PST, the schedules still aren't out for half the bases.

I do not take offense to anything you have stated.

The change that is occurring is not me just looking at all things DAL from Rose Colored Glasses. This first bid has a lot of seats leave ATL. You need to take a unemotional look at why?
For a long time ATL crews have been doing the Loin's share of the NYC 767/757 lift. They have been doing all of the 765 NYC lift. We have been doing a lot of the LAX and SLC lift. So now that this merger is complete they can shift the block hrs around to create a few less NYC LAYOs et al. It will save millions in transfer and hotel fees.
Also, look at the fact that to get rid of that many 767 positions and then look at the DAL-N AE in Sept you realize that they added seats to the 755 in DTW where there is no TOE or WWO. Again cost savings.

Lets go a step further, the time leaving ATL was and is not ATL out and back flying. It will be a lot of the flying that we are currently not doing. With this economic downturn and the fact that we ahve 5-+ 767/757 jets sitting in storage, gave them the perfect time to take an ax to the category without incurring a huge training cost be converting all of the seats to the ER. It sucks but the timing is great. Simply fact is that things are improving and there will be more widebody time shifting as we right our network. We knew it was coming, and now the time is upon us.

There will be time returning to ATL. As 757 states they know this and the constraints of this bid and sim time avail made it very hard to put the 330 on the AE. It will be coming and there will be an increase again to ATL.

Does that make it bad to say we have rounded the corner? Heck No. We have and without a loss of one pilot. Add to that, that we have seats that will not be filled on this AE. That means a few things and you will see the results of that shortly. (1-6 months)

I agree that many of these leaks are controlled, and no one is being played by that. All of us that partake in the effort to stay informed and up on the bi-polar actions of our airline realize that plans never are executed and they change. The point of this thread is to keep up on the daily happenings of our airline, our union and our lives. Nothing more nothing less. There is a ton of very informed individuals here. They take the time to talk to the guys running the ship, who by the way are very forthcoming with information, and share what they can and don't what they can't.

DAL has done the impossible. SOC on the insane timetable that RA stated when we announced the merger. That alone will go down in the history books. Now that we have this animal that has been shackled for the last 18 months, he is going to start flexing his muscles. I look forward to our revenue potential, route dynamic, and where we are going. If all things stay on their current path we will enjoy the next few years.

FWIW, the info coming from the Kremlin is good, and that is good for you.

I will also add a philosophical point of ACL. PPL have decided to listen to what this pseudonym has to say. For that reason, it serves no purpose to sit there and be down trodden or cry in my milk about a displacement, etc. We as a group need to look at the progress and process from the macro sense. It is good to vent, but generally I will not talk about my own lot, nor will I get in to the N/S debate as it is truly moot. We agreed to it, it is what it is and we are on the bus together. Time to deal with the platonic shifting of this merger as it happens and just realize that some of it will suck.
