That is not exactly what Nicelau awarded to the USAir East pilots. He gave the top 500 slots for Widebody Captains at USAir, since AWA didn't have widebodies at that point. Could they have gotten them later on? Maybe, since they had 742s flying to Nagoya via HNL years before. But Nic still gave the East guys the top 500 spots. That is precedent.

I think I just saw Super down on the field, sitting next to McCoy with photos of UT Cheerleaders, begging him to go back out there. "Come on, Colt. Do it for them. Do it for underboob."

This is exactly why we should probably expect their most senior guy to go after our stovepipe WB captain slot...which is right around seniority #2600.

There are ways that they could be done, and there are the legal and "scientific" ways of running the numbers that more than likely WILL be done.

That is what was done with the USair deal, although no pull/plug credit was given for the age of the easties... and that was what was also done with our integration, although it was a bit harder to see since our companies are so similar.

The precedents have been set, and the gigantic crayon used for measuring this will still probably be used again... unless someone has some other brilliant solution that isnt overly complicated like a dynamic list.

Of course... all being hypothetical. Interesting to think about, though. The JAL thing hasn't even gone through yet...

Why would you throw a shovel pass with 3 seconds left in the half?

You think DAL will let me coach UT part time?

Totally disagree. When speaking of fleets, WB's etc, anything is POSSIBLE but what is reasonable and probable based on known current and past practices? To suggest AS might order WB's in the future and Delta could park all of their's is completely unreasonable. In life, anything is possible but not everything is likely or probable.

In MSP for a few days of training...man that place is not the same. Lots of empty desks on the 3rd floor now, old classroom areas reconfigured, and huge remolded area with door mock ups for FA and Pilot training. Even saw a triple 7 door mock up all though I was told I could not touch it for five more years....

The most interesting thing to come out of the rumor hotbed that is the 3rd floor....nothing. They are either playing coy with the information or they are in the dark on what is going on. I have a feeling it is the latter.

The center of the universe has shifted south. So a request to all my new South buddies, please keep the rumors coming because it looks like the pipeline from the north is closing fast.

Could somebody have that framed and sent to the MEC office?

His name is ACL and he will.

But right now we are very concerned about the well being of Super. I think he went to the locker room.
