Dal73N, thanks for posting.

Bill, there have been rumblings about DFW, I hope it's a base soon. And boy I can't imagine the tension in the days between bid close and bid posting.

So I'm at the O Club last night, drinking with a furloughed AMR guy and a furloughed UAL guy.

It brought home yet again how fortunate we are to work for an airline that appears to be run by adults.

(For the moment. The current team's gonna leave eventually, and we can only hope that the next group won't be thieves or Bozos.)

Ah - gotta read carefully - he said "No hub", not "no base". We don't have a hub in Orlando, Tampa or any of the other places we have FA bases. A base doesn't require a hub, does it? :) That number of airplanes might be enough to have a base. I don't have any connections to the 4th floor - but others here have hinted on a DFW base.

What you do not like a cargo 757? Why?

Or is it that you are sick of the same ole rumors?

Plus it has been four days.

757 Freighter looks good. Can't wait for Big D to start taking on FDX and UPS...hope we get their pay scales...:D.

Rumors are always good...your rumors seem to be closer to the truth though.

4 days since the latest change? Really? Ok, but this DFW rumor warrents a Dallas skyline or Cowbays cheerleaders logo :).

Ok, could someone post the correct way to format the move your x days on Icrew, please?

You're a lawyer too? :D ;)

Amen. Most of us here will outlast the current management and the next and the next and 80 will still be here so long that he'll have to explain what the 767 and 777 were to some new hire that hasn't even been born yet. Thus, we have to always plan for bad management in the future by negotiating a solid contract and grabbing a seat at the table when able but at the same time we need to appreciate when we have a good team and if you step back and look around we have a heck of a good team right now in an industry with a long history dreg management teams... doesn't mean we stop fighting for ourselves though.

Probably be one of the first to go when they can't fill it up with AA passengers from the OneWorld Alliance. Don't think we can fill one up out of there quite yet.

Stupid question ...

Wouldn't it be cheaper for the company to have more yet smaller geographically located pilot bases?

Satch, do I respond with that pic as your avatar? Should I? Super? Beer? I don't know. I think I will...

To move xdays go to PCS, Leave Requests, select the correct bid period in the window, click on the last type of leave request "Move Reserve Off Days", click Add/Update, put in the day(s) you currently have OFF and THEN put in the days you WANT off.

If you want the 13-14th off and currently have the 25-26th off then put in 25FEB - 26 FEB to 13 FEB - 14 FEB. FWIW, it won't accept it if you put it in backwards, it knows what days off you have so thats a good thing. If you want just the 13th off and want to exchange the 25th then its 25FEB - 25FEB to 13FEB - 13FEB.

BTW, I fart in your general direction. ;)

DFW is an option, but it may be a back burner deal right now. There are more important things that need to be dealt with first.
