The comment this morning about an SLI today, was the result of a few of my NWA contacts stating such. According to the DALPA side it will be late Monday before anything is posted.
Either way the next week is going to have a lot of news in it.

Once the SLI is finally announced is it absolute? Meaning: will this be a "done deal" on the 8th or can the results be appealled and argued and dragged out for months?

To My knowledge there has never been a successful attempt to appeal an arbitrated seniority list. Courts or more accurately JUDGES are extremely reticent to overturn arbitrators awards, possibly because many judges become arbitrators when they retire...Anyway the short answer is the list will be pretty absolute, the only things subject to arguing and dragging out are implementation issues and interpretation issues which are usually much adoo about very little.

Plus, both parties agreed to the JCBA/JPWA which binds us to the list. I guess we could try, but it would not do much good.
We get to live with it.

There is some scuttlebutt about the list coming out today at 5pm, and it's from the same source that correctly called out the DOJ/DCC coming MUCH sooner than expected (which even surprised the fanbois).

With that said, I'm with the others that it will be Monday at the soonest. It's already 1:30 on the east coast, and I'd think we'd be hearing at least the rumblings of gastrointestinal distress by now.

I was told today weeks ago, but our union refuted it.

Seeing as though were were all supposed to be upset about the list two weeks ago and that the extension was for the arbitrators and not for our negotiations, it wouldn't surprise me if they release the list today. (Then take the first flight to Maui to relax on the beach).

Why work on a weekend to release it on Monday with all the good football games going on? Go Gators!! And go Missouri!!! (Oklahoma jumping Texas is a joke!!!) :eek:
