Scoop

Looks like LAX-SFO will be 2 x 738 and 3 x rj90. I just assumed LAX 73 flying but I guess it could be SLC?

I assume your min guarantee is adusted accordingly for this. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks. I just want to make sure that I'm not leaving some free paid days off on the table.

Yes, it is adjusted 3:15 (?) a day for each day you take off for an APD or PD.

So is this the reason they never reduced the staffing levels on the A320 in MSP even though they were swapping with 88s for 320s with SLC? If not, are they staffed for this on the 320? It might kill Super and J29 but that'd only mean hiring, right? :D

And why not the 9 doing the shuttle? Seems like a good fit.

I think you're senior to me so it won't do you any good. :p

You are correct. The only paid days off are called vacation.:)

IMHO, his (and by extrapolation our Company's) focus isn't on mainline.

We're one scope negotiation away from complete irrelevance in domestic flying. Mainline doesn't even serve Canadian markets.

The A319/320 goes to Winnepeg, Calgary, Edmonton, & Vancouver. Or it has in the last year. I know it still goes to Calgary & Edmonton for sure.

Vancouver is an awesome layo. In the summer we have a 24 hr layo. Just great.

Has anyone ever seen this message when trying to move a x-day for current month. 1: NOT ALLOWED UNTIL NEXT MONTH'S SCHEDS. That is what I get when I look up why it wasn't allowed. Im trying to trade the 28 to the 18 and all the move day rules are good. And I do have the right bid period in there. Any suggestions?

And, with the price of jet fuel at $2.11/gallon that increases our fuel cost by 6.7%. Every penny our fuel costs increase lowers our profit and the money available for us to get either profit sharing or a pay raise in 2012. This is very significant.

Math 101? There was nothing wrong with my math. I'm well aware of how to calculate a percentage increase from 21.9 cents to 36 cents. I was just correcting him on his statement of a 36% tax. I do agree it's a significant increase and I don't agree with it, but it's not a 36% tax on a gallon of fuel.
