So what is the point of a reserve guy submitting a GS on his days ON? Does it have any advantage over him submitting a YS? Doesn't a YS go before a GS? Maybe it's just advantageous if it's an Out of Base GS?

I do not beleive so. Just the ability to forgo the 12 hr call out., plus first day at premium pay.

Which can be done with the YS anyway, right? That's a proffer.(I've been reading my contract!:eek:)

Anything under 12 hrs is a proffer. An IA needs a good excuse like beer, kids, etc.

It will pay you above guarantee on that first day.

Ah. Thank you. That's what I've been trying to find out. So the 1st day's credit is straight pay above guarantee for a reserve guy who GS a trip on his reserve days? The rest is just credit towards guarantee??

Yeah, it is kind of crazy on the bus right now. This summer should be interesting. I am on a 4 day GS right now.
