You should get a PD if the "Available" numbers are in excess of the "Required" numbers on the Pilot Reserve Levels list under Open Time. You can take as many of those as you can get. APD on the other hand will get you days off when fewer reserves are available. There is a formula but just assume that if they have any reserves for the days you want, it might work.
