Ok, maybe 7% would be better. Glad I don't work until Thursday - should give me some time to recover.

Baltica number 6... if it has to be beer... I prefer Russian Standard though... if I ever get back to SVO :(

That stuff is quite strong! They sell in on every street corner. 1 Liter is really all you need!

I'm gonna break into my "Grimbergen, Optimo Bruno" stash on Monday. I fear the ruckus and name calling that may happen here, so I shall retreat to my happy place.

Good luck to all of us come Monday!

May we all be friends by,... Friday? (that might be asking a bit much, but I'm there).

Cheers

Yep, think I'll light up a Cuban, I mean Dominican, on Monday and open the 18 yr old Scotch too.

I love the Steamworks in Vancouver. Or Pikes will do in a pinch.

Hearing of any issues from the company on the SLI?......

Heyas ACL,

What I'm hearing is that the company (Mama Delta, in this case) will keeps hands off and approve whatever comes down.

It is the proverbial 3rd rail for them. Sure, they have the power to say it costs too much, but it would have to be REALLY out of whack (like a complete bump and flush) for them to do so, otherwise they risk VERY expensive lawsuits and injunctions from now to eternity. Further, they have several more unions to deal with and they HAVE to display some kind of impartiality otherwise they risk a backlash that would put their plans at risk.

MHO, YMMV

Nu

Hey Nu;
I have heard the same thing. We got a list, and it will be here in less than 90 hrs. Here to taking whatever comes like professionals.
Furthermore, lets hope for good news the rest of next week as well.

I'm with ya on that one. Most of us 07 hires probably won't like what we see, but what are ya gonna do? Hopefully the news the rest of the week will make the SLI easier to swallow. I just hope it is really good or really bad so I can either figure I'll be employed in 09 or start going down the plan B road. It's gonna be a very long weekend.
