I agree we should stay on top of scope/outsourcing/etc. I just don't feel we need to be badgering about it. That not only gets old but seems unprofessional. When that starts to happen we lose our credibility, and then no one takes us seriously.
Once again I agree with the angst, just not with the way we need to handle it.

fyp... And FWIW, that is all I am saying. It has always bothered me that there seems to be a blurring of the line between DCI and mainline. I understand that management wants the travel experiance of our customers to be "seamless", but it seems to me that it is a bit of a slippery slope from the seamless travel to a scope issue. I remember when I was a newbie, one could go from Augusta to Paris, and never step foot on a Delta airplane even though you bought your ticket from Delta Air Lines. To me this seems a bit... well... wrong. I dunno.. maybe I am all wet on this, and it is much ado about nothing, and I do not think it needs a job action or anything so rash as that, but it does warrant watching.

There was some drama involved, but the entire committee is top drawer.

It's 2/2 if anyone cares.

We did get the memo at pinnacle, its not right and its very hard for me to not say connection, so to retalitate, the first flight after i said northwest airlink operated by pinnacle airlines inc, a division of pinnacle airlines corp.
We are not Delta, we should not being saying delta. The passengers ticket says operated by pinnacle airlines on it so if they can't read, thats not the pilots of delta's fault.

So on behalf of 1300 pilots - sorry

I think they will serve us well. I like the mix.

I agree... It's marketed as Delta but the pax need to know when they are riding on outsourced metal.

The other guy that posted obviously hadn't checked his v-file for the memo of the week, haha. Man.. I dont miss that..

I'd have to say that AirTran went for the jugular on this.

IMHO, SWA is sensitive about their "Joe Six Pack" image, and have gone a ways to try to get away from that.

and AirTran just kicked them where it hurts.
